Kent’s Police Crime Commissioner Matthew Scott, visits One Maidstone’s remembrance tribute

During a visit to the County Town, Kent’s PCC Matthew Scott gave his positive reaction to One Maidstone’s artwork commemorating the Armed Forces, saying ‘I commend One Maidstone on the efforts they’ve gone to at a really important time, as we remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in defence of our country. It’s a fantastic design, and I hope it brings a renewed focus on something which is really important to all of our local communities.’

One Maidstone has taken Remembrance in Maidstone to a whole new level, by producing and funding a large-scale window display honouring service personnel, hosted by the Mall Maidstone. The artwork will be available to view through until the end of November.

The four panels will have a semi-transparent stained-glass effect, and have been designed by One Maidstone to reflect peacetime, the Army, the Royal Air Force, and the Royal Navy, approved by the Royal British Legion.
